We currently have the following openings as of August 2, 2010 Medical Production Technician Responsible for the secondary operations of washing, trimming and deburring very small parts using microscopic equipment. Candidates must be able to read blueprints and use calipers and micrometers. Work is performed in an office type environment. Quality Technician Responsible for in-process inspection of small parts. Must be able to use microscopes, comparators, micrometers as well as other measuring equipment. Previous experience with small parts in a manufacturing environment or quality lab is required. Knowledge of SPC is required; GD&T training is a plus. Must have solid math and Microsoft Excel skills. Work is performed in a clean, office type environment. Creativity, teamwork and the ability to multitask is required. Quality Manager Responsible for leading the quality efforts through strong leadership, communication and technical acumen. Provide leadership in communication and interaction with customers in order to ensure that customer expectations are continually met or exceeded. Work closely with operations and plant management to ensure systems, processes and procedures are created and implemented to meet customer expectations for quality and delivery. Manage the timely evaluation, investigation and resolution of customer complaints related to product quality. Assist and lead internal and external audits and related activities.
The ideal candidate will posses a technical degree and a minimum of 10 years experience in Quality Management in a manufacturing environment. Medical device experience is highly desirable. Strong problem solving skills using methods such as 8-D, PFMEA, six-sigma, SPC and MSA. Proven CAPA management skills. Proven experience in implementing and managing ISO13485. Previous experience leading lean manufacturing activities is a plus. Strong organization, communication and Microsoft Office skills are required. The ability to develop consulting and working relationships is required as well as strong project management skills. Primary duties include production support for creating customer tooling requirements; this includes fabrication and assemly of the tooling. Successful candidate should have 5 years of machine and tool making experience. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to machine components using varous tool room eqiupment such as milling machines, lathes, drill presses and surface grinders. Knowledge of wire EDM machines is desirable. The ability to build tooling spontaneously without fully created mechanical drawings is essential.
